Privacy Policy
Effective September 6, 2026
Cedar Web Services builds software that respects the people who use it. This page describes the information our mobile apps and website handle and what we do with it. Questions? Reach us through the support page.
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile applications published by Cedar Web Services on the Apple App Store and Google Play (our "Apps"), and to this website, cedarwebservice.com. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Each App also has a privacy summary on its store listing. If an individual App collects something not described here, its store listing and in-app disclosures take precedence for that App.
Information we collect
We collect as little as an App needs to work. Depending on the App and the features you use, this may include:
- Information you provide directly, such as a name, email address, or the content you create inside an App.
- Account information if an App offers sign-in, including credentials handled by Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Device and diagnostic information, such as device model, operating system version, App version, and crash reports, used to keep the App stable.
- Device permissions you choose to grant, such as camera, photos, location, or notifications. These are requested only when a feature needs them and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
- Messages you send us through the support form on this website.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Apps and this website.
- Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- Respond to support requests and questions.
- Send service-related notices, such as changes to this policy or to an App.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Third-party services
The Apps are distributed through Apple and Google, and those platforms collect information under their own privacy policies when you download, purchase, or update an App. Some Apps may also use third-party SDKs for features like maps, authentication, or crash reporting. We only integrate services that are necessary for the App to function and that publish their own privacy commitments.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Content stored only on your device stays under your control and is removed when you delete the App. Data stored on our servers is deleted when you delete your account or on request, unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Change or revoke device permissions at any time in your device settings.
- Delete an App to remove locally stored data.
- Delete your account from within an App where accounts are supported.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us through the support page.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We will honor those requests as required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children's privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice within the affected App. Continued use of an App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights described above, send us a message through our support page. We respond within one business day.
